With over 26 years of experience in education, Nicole founded H2 Leadership because of her passion for leadership and ensuring leaders have the important understanding of the synergy between leading with both the head and the heart. Nicole is a seasoned professional who has dedicated her career to teaching, administration, research, consulting, and professorship. Her journey began in the classroom, where she honed her skills as an educator and developed a deep understanding of student needs and pedagogical strategies

Transitioning into administrative roles, she successfully manages educational programs and initiatives, demonstrating a strong aptitude for leadership and organizational development. Her research endeavors have focused on leadership and teacher excellence contributing to valuable insights and advancing knowledge in the field of education.

As a consultant, she works with educational leaders to help implement effective strategies and solutions, ensuring improved outcomes and operational efficiency. She seeks to inspire and mentor the next generation of educational leaders by fostering a passion for lifelong learning, improved clarity, and a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.

Ian Sharman is an educator and leadership consultant with a passion for helping teachers and school leaders lead with clarity, courage, and authenticity. With over a decade of experience in education, Ian brings a grounded, real-world perspective shaped by both classroom practice and leadership development.

Ian earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Education and Master of Science in Education from Niagara University. His academic background informs a leadership approach rooted in intentional thinking, purposeful decision-making, and culture built through both clarity and care.

As a practicing educator, Ian remains closely connected to the daily realities of teaching and learning. He specializes in helping leaders surface the beliefs they lead from, align values with actions, and intentionally shape culture. Through the H2 Leadership framework, his work emphasizes the integration of head (strategy, systems, and decisions) and heart (identity, beliefs, and relationships).

Outside of his professional work, Ian is a husband and father who believes leadership is shaped as much at home as it is at work—an outlook that continues to inform his commitment to people-first leadership and healthy, sustainable culture.
